Subject: Price Increase Various Baerlocher Product Families Effective May 23, 2022
Dear Valued Customer,

Baerlocher USA continues to face unprecedented shortages, and sustained escalation of costs for key raw materials
like phosphorus derivatives, mineral intermediates, waxes, and myriad of other specialized additives that allow us to
deliver products with the unique functionality you value.

Global and domestic freight cost pressures also continue to impact our industry in a sustained and significant way.
The uncertainties of the war and the post-COVID-19 uneven global economic rebound continue to disrupt
international supply chains triggering the need for additional air freight costs to import raw materials. On the domestic
front, packaging costs continue to reach unprecedented heights.

Baerlocher, without hesitation, continues to work to serve our customers without interruption amid these challenging
times.

Effective on May 23, 2022, or as contracts allow, Baerlocher will increase prices for product delivering on or after this
date regardless of order date, the following product lines are affected:

• Tallow derived calcium stearates will increase by $0.17/lb, and tallow derived zinc stearates will increase by $0.20/lb
• Vegetable derived calcium stearates will increase by $0.20/lb and vegetable derived zinc stearates will increase by $0.23/lb
• Vegetable derived stearic acid will increase by $0.18/lb and tallow derived stearic acid will increase by $0.15/lb
• All Liquid Mixed Metals and TNPP will increase by $0.22/lb
• Epoxidized Soybean Oil will increase by $0.20/lb
• BAEROLUB price increases will vary depending on raw material composition. In addition, the following products will have varying price increases -- These include, ester waxes, oxidized polyethylene waxes, hydrocarbon waxes and polyethylene waxes.
